Royce made the decision to persevere.

The way the story goes was that Eminem had a booth at the concert venue selling his Slim Shady EP. Kino made the introduction and Eminem was impressed by Royce. Fast forward a year later, Eminem was being signed to Aftermath and had passed off Royce’s demo to Dr Dre. Dr Dre flew out Royce to work on music for his album Chronic 2001. It is good to see that they were able to overcome their differences and still periodically put out new material. With the backlash that came with Eminem’s Revival project it was Royce who has been the most vocal, coming to his defense.
