In recent years there have been announcements of projects including the <strong><em>G.O.A.T 2<\/em><\/strong> and an untitled project spearheaded by Dr. Dre. At this point the projects have not been released. The material released related to the projects show LL Cool J can still deliver at a high level. A common theme that LL has done with his projects since the mid 90\u2019s that will hopefully continue is to feature fellow artists from Queens where he was raised.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>LL Cool J \u2013 Tell Tha World<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><iframe width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/39sw57KXS8o?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>LL Cool J \u2013 Freestyle (prod. by Dr. Dre)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><iframe width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/10vpMVLhvHo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The first occurrence was on the I Shot Ya remix from the 1995 album <strong><em>Mr. Smith<\/em><\/strong>. The track featured Keith Murray, Fat Joe, Foxy Brown, and Prodigy from Mobb Deep representing Queens. On LL Cool J\u2019s follow up 1997\u2019s <strong><em>Phenomenon<\/em><\/strong> Queen\u2019s natives the Lost Boyz appeared twice on the album. The tracks were \u201cAnother Dolla\u201d and the other being \u201cWanna Get Paid\u201d.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>LL Cool J \u2013 I Shot Ya (remix) feat. LL would link up once again with Prodigy from Mobb Deep on \u201cQueens Is\u201d. The track itself was produced by other Mobb Deep member Havoc. Ja Rule hailing from Queens made an appearance on \u201cBack Where I Belong\u201d. In 2006 LL Cool J forged a partnership with 50 Cent and G-Unit. This was going to be huge for Queens.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>LL Cool J \u2013 Queens Is feat. Ja Rule<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><iframe width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/6uBd4Za38f0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The first track together was the remix to \u201cFreeze\u201d labeled as \u201cBump This\u201d from the <strong><em>Todd Smith<\/em><\/strong> project which featured 50 Cent and Lloyd Banks. In 2007 LL Cool J would drop the mixtape track \u201cQueens\u201d featuring 50 Cent, Kool G Rap, Prodigy, and Tony Yayo. LL would then hop on the remix to G-Unit\u2019s \u201cStraight Outta Southside\u201d. LL over the last few years has voiced that the material he wants to put out at this point is just real authentic hip hop. He has nothing left to prove and wants to put music out for the love of it.
