The project had a very polarizing reception. Some have applauded the tone and direction it took while others reminisce the \u201cOld Eminem\u201d. His work which was heavily laced with the alter ego \u201cSlim Shady\u201d. With album sales falling below expectations, Eminem has been retooling his songs and changing the direction of the marketing to give it extended life.\u00a0 He has also realigned himself with 50 Cent, bringing him on stage for Coachella and the Governor&#8217;s Ball.\u00a0 As well as Royce da 5&#8217;9&#8243; appearing on the track &#8220;Caterpillar&#8221; from the album <em><strong>Book of Ryan<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Royce da 5&#8217;9&#8243; &#8211; Caterpillar feat Eminem, King Green<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><iframe width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/dARAN1z2KqY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>This was evident with the rollout of the remix of &#8220;Chloraseptic&#8221; featuring 2 Chainz and Phresher back in January. He raps in a vintage \u201cSlim Shady\u201d addressing detractors of his recent album:<br \/>\n\u201cThank God, I rap better when the odds are stacked. Revival&#8217;s wack, I don&#8217;t like the &#8216;Zombie&#8217; track<br \/>\nOr when he&#8217;s talkin&#8217; that garbage psychotic crap<br \/>\nWhere&#8217;s your content at? What&#8217;s with all the conscious rap?<br \/>\nP!nk, Beyonc\u00e9 this and Kehlani that&#8221; (yeah)\u201d.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Eminem featuring 2 Chainz &amp; Phresher \u2013 Chloraseptic Remix<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><iframe width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Pg1O_fs7SzE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The last single Eminem dropped from the <em><strong>Revival<\/strong><\/em> album was \u201cFramed\u201d. Fans were excited due to the track capturing heavy elements of \u201cSlim Shady\u201d with the horrorcore lyrics and subject matter. In a lot of ways, having many parallels to the track \u201c3 a.m.\u201d from Eminem\u2019s album \u201cRelapse\u201d.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Eminem \u2013 Framed<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><iframe width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/PVbQrvlB_gw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Eminem \u2013 3 a.m.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><iframe width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hAuo8IOFNuE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Hopefully the moves Eminem has made in recent months is a foreshadowing of doing another project with a healthy dose of his alter ego \u201cSlim Shady\u201d. Wanted to deep dig in the vaults and revisit some rare tracks that are pure vintage \u201cSlim Shady\u201d from early in his career.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eminem featuring Pacewon and Bizarre \u2013 Take The Whole World With Me<\/strong><br \/>\nA track from 1997 during Eminem\u2019s days of being affiliated with the New Jersey based group \u201cThe Outsidaz\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><iframe width=\"1080\" height=\"810\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/WJS_aNpvGks?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Da Ruckus featuring Eminem \u2013 We Shine<\/strong><br \/>\nVintage Slim Shady at the 1:55 mark off the debut ep from the Detroit underground group, Da Ruckus back in 1998.
