They have released two projects to date that have both received high praise and critical acclaim within the hip hop community. \u00a0\u00a0They have also embarked on two tours together. \u00a0Well before the formation of PRhyme, DJ Premier and Royce da 5\u20199\u201d have been collaborating and putting out classic material.\u00a0 Let us revisit those moments that helped these legendary players in the hip hop game to put out full length projects out together.<\/p>\n<p>The first track they worked on together was \u201cBoom\u201d which initially came out towards the end of 1999. It turned out to be the debut single from his album <strong><em>Vice City<\/em><\/strong> which would be released in 2002.\u00a0 The single set the tone for his career of being a highly regarded underground emcee.\u00a0 The next classic track between DJ Premier and Royce da 5\u20199\u2019\u2019 was \u201cHip Hop\u201d off of the 2004 sophomore album <strong><em>Death Is Certain<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Royce da 5\u20199\u201d &#8211; Boom (prod. by DJ Premier)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><iframe width=\"1080\" height=\"810\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/bQNDRrZflBA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Royce da 5\u20199\u201d &#8211; Hip Hop (prod. by DJ Premier)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><iframe width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/RLVlmm4HqfM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>As far as studio albums are concerned the duo next worked on Royce\u2019s 2009 project <strong><em>Street Hop<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 This time around DJ Premier was the executive producer.\u00a0 While manning the boards for the lead single \u201cShake This\u201d as well as album cuts \u201cSomething 2 Ride 2\u201d and \u201cHood Love\u201d.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Royce da 5\u20199\u201d &#8211; Shake This (prod. by DJ Premier)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><iframe width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/lHZeszCO6xk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Royce da 5\u20199\u201d &#8211; Something 2 Ride 2 feat. Bun B &amp; Joell Ortiz (prod. by DJ Premier)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><iframe width=\"1080\" height=\"810\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ReD8iOYBPz4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Then popping up on 2011\u2019s <strong><em>Success Is Certain<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 For this first time DJ Premier was able to produce the group Bad Meets Evil consisting of Royce and Eminem on the remix to the lead single \u201cWriter\u2019s Block\u201d.\u00a0 Royce and Eminem had just released the album <strong><em>Hell: The Sequel<\/em><\/strong> just a few months prior.\u00a0 DJ Premier then also produced the follow up single \u201cSecond Place\u201d.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Royce da 5\u20199\u201d -Writer\u2019s Block (remix) feat. After all these years DJ Premier and Royce da 5\u20199\u201d remain on top of their game.
