Prince, CEO of longtime record label Rap-A-Lot Records revealed his original vision of Scarface\u2019s biggest hit \u201cSmile\u201d. The song featured one of the last verses that 2Pac recorded before he passed away.\u00a0 J. Prince reached out to the Notorious B.I.G. asking for him to lay a verse for the track.\u00a0 However, Biggie denied the request not wanting any connection with the song.(Mentioned at 1:00 mark). There was a time though when he would have hopped on the song without hesitation. They were brought on stage by the legendary Big Daddy Kane who would also be accompanied by Shyheim and Big Scoob.\u00a0 Biggie was beginning to build a buzz and 2Pac was riding the wave of his film <strong><em>Poetic Justice<\/em><\/strong> that had just been released at the time. That same year the two worked on a track called \u201cHouse of Pain\u201d that would eventually be released officially years later.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Big Daddy Kane \u2013 Freestyle feat. Big Stretch &amp; Biggie<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><iframe width=\"1080\" height=\"810\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/1lGcgRkaM5k?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The following year 2Pac and Biggie would be found on the track \u201cLet\u2019s Get It On\u201d.\u00a0 A posse cut accompanied by Eddie F, Grand Puba, and Heavy D off the compilation album <strong><em>Eddie F &amp; The Untouchables Present: Let\u2019s Get It On \u2013 The Album<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 The last track they recorded together was \u201cRunnin From The Police\u201d produced by Easy Mo Bee.\u00a0 Easy Mo Bee would continue working with both artists during their fallout.\u00a0 The track itself landed on the 1995 compilation <strong><em>One Million Strong<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>2Pac \u2013 Let\u2019s Get It On feat. Biggie, Outlawz &amp; Buju Banton (prod. by Easy Mo Bee)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><iframe width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/iEemQdHa9VY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Commercial wise the two would collaborate posthumously on the 2003 soundtrack Tupac: Resurrection on the song \u201cRunnin\u2019 (Dying to Live)\u201d produced by Eminem.\u00a0 The song was an updated version of \u201cRunnin From The Police\u201d with a different chorus and instrumental. The last official posthumous collaboration was \u201cDeadly Combination\u201d remix off of Big L\u2019s 2006 album <strong><em>Big L: The Archives 1996-2000<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>2Pac \u2013 Runnin\u2019 Dying to Live feat. Biggie (prod. by Eminem)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><iframe width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/LbWhgNIghQY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Big L \u2013 Deadly Combination (remix) feat. 2Pac and Biggie<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><iframe width=\"1080\" height=\"810\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0BoFhylzzEk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Looking back if Biggie had appeared on the \u201cSmile\u201d track maybe the tensions between the east and the west would have waned.\u00a0 Possibly the Notorious B.I.G may not have been gunned down on March 9<sup>th<\/sup>, 1997.\u00a0 At the very least it would have been a huge gesture on his part and bring closure.\u00a0 The official tracks we have of these two legends is limited.\u00a0 However talented producers have been able to create music of high caliber, putting their vocals over new tracks.\u00a0 Making them sound new to the younger generations.
