T.I. just rolled out the track listing for his tenth album Dime Trap which is set to drop on October 5th. There are a number of artists making an appearance on the project. Those who have been following T.I. since the beginning are glad to see Jeezy on the track “More & More”. Both artists entered the hip hop game back in 2001, making an impact on bringing Atlanta hip hop to the forefront. Going back and forth vying for the spot of being crowned the “King of the South”. The two artists have collaborated with each other numerous times. In recent years there have been talks of a joint album.

One of the early tracks they worked on together was “Bang” from Jeezy’s 2005 solo debut album Lets Get It: Thug Motivation 101 accompanied by Lil Scrappy. The next track to mention is “F.A.M.E” off Jeezy’s 2011 album TM:103 Hustlerz Ambition. Shortly thereafter the duo would hop on the remix to B.O.B’s 2011 smash hit “Strange Clouds”. Throughout the years they have hopped on many remixes together.

They would even appear on mixtapes together including the title track to T.I.’s 2012 mixtape project F Da City Up. That same year they appeared on “We In This” from DJ Drama’s 2012 compilation album Quality Street Music. One of the last tracks they appeared together was G’ Sh*t from T.I.’s last studio album released to date, 2014’s Paperwork.

It is commendable that after both artists being in the game for almost twenty years have managed to maintain relevancy in the game. Throughout all their music they have worked together, their chemistry is evident. Hopefully the collaboration album they had discussed in the past will at some point come into fruition. T.I. and Jeezy will forever be “Kings of the South”.
